Applying for planning permission in Bexley

Hello all, I'm new to Air BnB. Has anyone gone through the permission planning application for London Bexley? Have questions about What application forms you need and the general process.

@Joyce617 I am told that it is nearly impossible to get planning permission in London for an Airbnb. I would contact the council and see if there is a realistic chance of success before wasting your money on an application.

Your simplest option is to long term rent which is what the policies are trying to force on landlords. Another possibility is to rent to students for 9 months and Airbnb it for 3 months in high season. Sadly the latest stupid laws from the Government not allowing landlords to remove tenants without cause mean even this is hard. I am not sure if this last law is in force yet.

Do you mean planning permission to use the property as a commercial let or do you mean planning permission to extend beyond the 90 day limit for STRs in London @Joyce617

I don't know of any host in London that has been given planning permission beyond the 90 days but give your council a call and see what they say. @Joyce617
