Hello,
I live in west coast and my property is in Pittsburgh. We don’t have local contact who can be in charge of furniture delivery and setup. I found this company called bee setups that can help with that. But the reviews seem fishy and found Reddit post saying it’s a scam. Does anyone have experience with Bee Setups?
Hi @Anu8996
As this is a global community, it might be hard to find a host who has used this service in your particular area. Have you asked in any local groups for recommendations as well?
So we hired them about 5 months ago. Wife and I bought at house in Nashville and we both work W2 jobs. We saw an ad for them on Instagram and had a few calls. They furnished our 4b3b house in about 6 weeks inside and outside. We paid them $4,500 for their service. We also financed the project with them including their design fee which was nice. Overall they did a great job with the setup. This is our third airbnb but the first one we did with them. Not sure about others experience but we had a good one with them. We would definitely hire for another out of state proejct
@Anu8996, @Victor4704 and @Cristina3993 - @Francisco2505 has shared their recent experience with them here. What did you decide to do in the end?
Quick tip: if you type "@" and then the username, this will tag the member that you're replying to.
I'm also looking for more information and reviews regarding them! We probably saw the same bad review, and, for what they offer, the price seems too good to be true. Weird at least.
Why not hire a local Co Host to help you setup the property and/or manage it?
Did you end up working with them? I am looking for a similar service, but after seeing a lot of fake reviews on FB, I am concerned.
I have actually successfully remotely furnished a property last year. Unfortunately, I can't use that person anymore as she is dealing with health issues. Bee setups have financing options, and I could finance the design fee, basically zero out of pocket. so I wonder if it will turn out to be okay and less of a scam, since they will be fronting the cost??
Remotely furnishing with someone you know is a bit different and can be very successful.
