Business license to conduct long term (30 days or more) occupancy.

How many long term Airbnb rentals obtain a business license? I live in my home and rent out a room to Airbnb guest. I usually provide rooms for medical professionals but on occasion I have guests stay a few days. Will the new requirement put me out of business? I also noticed there is now an occupancy tax.
