I have tried posting this but I’m not sure it has posted so apologies if it is repeated.

i have a house in Italy. I have tried to get my CIN code whilst there last week. They say you need a SPID first, posr

t office said I can’t have a SPID or CIN without an Italian passport/identity card. I am British so only have and a British passport. Has anyone on here managed to get a CIN for their property with a British passport and if so how?🤷‍♀️

Ciao @Jacqueline1577 , yes that’s right: you can’t get a SPID if you are not an Italian resident. 
But before applying for CIN you should get your CIR (Codice Identificativo Regionale), Alloggiatiweb codes, ISTAT and Tourist tax (if any) registration at the Municipality.
When you are in possession of the CIR you can apply for the CIN on the BDSR website. There is the possibility to register for non Italian residents and get your entry credentials without SPID. 

Click on OTTIENI CIN

Click on the yellow marked link

Fill out this form and wait for the email reply with your access codes. Then enter with your credentials on the BDSR. 
But also entering the BDSR website you can’t proceed without CIR.

Was soll ich tun?

Hallo @Manuela103 , nur wenn du  in Besitz des CIR (Codice Identificativo Regionale) bist, kannst du das unten genannte Formular benutzen. Ohne CIR wird das Tourismusministerium in Italien deine Anfrage night bearbeiten. 
Um den CIR zu erhalten musst du dich in der Stadt, Region und bei der Questura anmelden und registrieren. Dazu brauchst du SPID, PEC, italienische Telefonnummer und elektronische Unterschrift. 
Ohne einen Wohnsitz in Italien kannst du die SPID nur erhalten, wenn du in Italien geboren bist und eine italienische Steuernummer hast. 
Als Alternative gibt es nur die Möglichkeit sich an eine Agentur zu wenden, die diese Formalitäten für dich in Italien regelt. 

Hello @Manuela103 , only if you have the CIR (Codice Identificativo Regionale) you can use the form below. Without CIR the Ministry of Tourism does not take into consideration your request.
To receive the CIR you must register in the municipality, the Region and the Police. To do this you need SPID, PEC, an Italian phone number and electronic signature. 
Without residency in Italy you can only receive the SPID if you are born in Italy and have an Italian tax number.

The only alternative is to contact an agency that will take care of these formalities for you in Italy..
