Hello, I want to rent cars through airbnb, I have a different class of car, sedan, jeep, minivan, I want to offer car service to my guests. Both with a driver and without a driver, meeting at the airport throughout Georgia. We have cars of different classes and budgets. I wish you a happy vacation and trip to Georgia 🫰🇬🇪❤️

Hi Lasha,

I don't think Airbnb offers a feature to rent a car and Airbnb Experience is actually on pause. Airbnb has been experimenting with various "experiences" and additional services, but currently, there's no direct integration for car rentals within Airbnb’s platform like there is for lodging.

However, the best way to do this within the platform is advertise it together with your listing. Make a clear note about how much is the extra service (for car rentals) and that the payment must be done on or before check in date.

You may collect the payment through Airnb Resolution Center. Note that Resoluton center does not automatically charge the guest once the booking is completed, you will have to ask the guest to perform the additional service payment by completing the payment request.

Additionally, you may actually use the "Special offer" feature that Airbnb have. Special offer allow you to set a specific amount before guest confirm their listing reservation. This is ideal if they sent inquiry first and they agreed to the car rental.

For example, me as a guest will send a message to you and system will already show that the property rental is 50 USD.

Then I agree to your car rental service which is 30 USD.

You will then submit a special offer worth 80 USD so when I book the property, it also includes the extra service for the car rental. 

Note that this method had pros and cons, pros because you can collect the extra service as soon as they book your property.

Cons because as the amount gets up, the Airbnb service fee is also raising (guest pays up to 14.2% of the booking subtotal and host is being charged 3% fee but some pay more). 

Note that resolution center doesnt charge additional service fee once the booking is completed.

Right now, we are providing this service. The car, along with the Airbnb rental, has been a great success for the past two years. Guests appreciate it very much. To be clear, as hosts, we cover the insurance. We would love for Airbnb to add a filter for listings that include a car; it would help us as hosts differentiate ourselves from the rest.
