Hello,
I’ve been an Airbnb Superhost for the past three years and have had great success managing my own listing. Recently, I’ve decided to expand my experience by taking on a potential co-host opportunity, and I wanted to reach out for some guidance.
I’m looking for insight on how to structure a business agreement for co-hosting, what key elements to include, and how to determine a fair percentage or commission rate. Any advice, best practices, or resources you could share to help me start off on the right foot would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

A good co-host contract should outline:
– Scope of work (guest communication, pricing, maintenance, emergencies, etc.)
– Responsibilities of both the owner and co-host
– Payment terms and commission rate (many charge around 15–25%, depending on involvement)
– Reimbursement policies for supplies, cleaning, and repairs
– Term length and termination notice
– Liability, insurance, and dispute resolution
Hi @Felicia295 😊,
Congratulations on this new beginning!
What will you be doing as a co-host?
I’m sharing this links with you 👉 Co-host.

Hi @Joey28 😊,
Thank you so much for helping our host!
How long have you been a Co‑host?
-----
For about 8 years 🙂
Thank you!! I've created a quick co-host contract and I'm going to have it looked over by an attorney here in the state of FL. I truly appreciate the help!!
Hi @Joey28 😊,
Wow, thank you for sharing that! That’s a lot of time.
What do you usually do as a Co-host?
-----
Basically everything I listed above. I manage the property for the owners so they can be hands off 🙂
Hi @Joey28 😊,
Thank you for your kind reply.
Do you work another job as well, or is this your full-time role?
-----
Full time role!
Hi @Joey28 😊,

I’m glad this has been so successful for you.
Wishing you an amazing day!

As a co-host, do you ever provide consulting services on interior furnishings or outdoor living? If yes, what recommendations would you suggest on fees for this service? For example, if the owner is transitioning from a long-term rental to a short-term rental.
You would need to decide on what fee to charge depending on the scope of the work involved . @Ellen1361
I have helped hosts before as a cohost to set up their listings and quote them based on what work I am doing for them.
