Colorado taxes

I have a new rental in Larimer County, Colorado (Estes Park).  Do I need to remit any taxes, or is Airbnb doing that for me?

Airbnb lumps all taxes on a reservation under the word "Occupancy Taxes". This includes any sales taxes and transient occupancy taxes (hotel tax) that may apply. You should be able to see on the reservation detail if there is a line showing an amount under Occupancy Taxes.

 

Airbnb only discloses what jurisdictions they collect taxes for; not the percentages unfortunately. You should determine the percentage amts required by both State and Local jurisdictions that apply and ensure the amounts are being collected correctly. Many Hosts keep a spread sheet for each reservation and breakdown the tax percentages for record keeping purposes in case they are needed come tax time:
