Confused With GSt Collection.

Hi

I am confused with the GST collection. I saw that GST was being charged on my listing but I thought I would get that money and then remit it myself.

It seems like was wrong on that. From what I read airbnb keeps the money and sends it to the government.

After some poking around I found an area to put my GST number.

Now on my listing I don't see GST. Do I have to raise my nightly prices to account for GST or can I add a seperate line item like it was before?

Also I already had a guest book with me before I put my GST number in. Is there away I can get that money back and remit myself or is that sort of lost?
