Denmark 70 days max rental period, what happens if we exceed 70 days?

Hello,

I have read about the 70 days max rental period in Denmark, I have also read this thread https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Help-with-your-business/Sublease-in-Denmark-70-days-limit/m-p/19...

I have a 2 bedroom apartment that I am living in. I travel a lot for work and private and therefore rent out the master bedroom (and the rest of the apartment) when I am away. I read somewhere, if we don't rent the whole apartment then we can exceed the 70 days? Is that correctly understood? And what happens when we exceed 70 days? Is it a matter of paying extra tax, or do we get a fine?

Thank you so much for your help, I highly appreciate your input.
