I'm a host who has been trying to get our payout information updated on our account for several months. Every time we reach out to support we get the same run around. A few months later and our payout information is still wrong.
Through each outreach and our continued outreach, here's where we've landed and everything we've tried:
- Everything on the support page for this
- Using various browsers and devices
- Disconnecting Channex which is how our PMS connected to Cloudbeds
Every single time we get the same issue and customer support/technical support seemingly has no answers. These feels like it should be probably the easier thing in the world to do as literally any other site where you make or manage payments allows you to update payment (or in this case payout) information.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Hoping someone in the community may have some answers or may know how to escalate to another level of technical support.
For background, we cannot edit our existing payout information. When we select the option/button to "Add payout method" from Accounts > Payments & Payouts > Payouts, we're taken to a "connect with us" page that asks in a text field box "What kind of payout method do you want to add?" It doesn't matter what we enter into this information, the result is always the same, which is we hit "submit" and it tells us "thank you" and someone will be in touch shortly.
