Can anyone explain how to fill out the DR-405 and explain the purpose? And also what to expect? I don’t live in Florida but have a home that we use as a vacation home and STR

After a cursory glance, it appears that this is a personal property tax form.  If your property is a stand alone (not shared) rental property, you would have to list the appliances installed, the rental property furnishings, large ticket property improvement costs and supplies consumed by guests and/or used by housekeeping.  Specifically, Lines 16, 16a, 20 and 23.  

Your local County tax office may have persons who can assist you with this form.
