Just wondering if anyone else is being asked to confirm government id (Australia) and having to go into a link .

@Roz260 Airbnb will ask you for your licence or other gov id to establish your identity , it is not passed onto your host but your host will most likely also like to know who is in their house and will ask for id from you again. You can generally send it via mobile directly to the host before you arrive , which is part of the hosts due diligence or offer to show it when you turn up as you may do trying to book into a hotel. Its standard ,hosts also like to know that the photo on the id is actually the person who turns up... H
