Hi Everyone,
I have been served with a zoning violation in Cook County, Illinois. My AirBnB is outside of Chicago in unincorporated Cook County. To make a long story short, my attorneys and I do not believe the zoning board has the authority to impose restrictions as nothing is codified in laws or ordinances.
Since this could potentially impact hundreds of other hosts in Cook County, we would like to engage with the AirBnB legal staff for support. The rules the County is trying to impose are just in draft form, so now is the time to act.
Has anyone interacted with AirBnB's legal staff? Can someone provide contact information?
