Hi everyone, I am new to this forum after 7 years hosting! Just found out about it. :) I am looking for advice on HST.

I went over $30,000 last year and had to start submitting HST myself. There was a lot of confusion on AirBnB's part and several months went by without any HST being collected or paid on my behalf. Does anyone know how to get a detailed breakdown of this? I need to calculate who paid what and who owes what but that involves a breakdown of each reservation. Any breakdown I have been able to get does not have sufficient detail and I have been given a lot of contradictory information also.

Yes I have contacted them many times.

Perhaps this is something to share and ask the local group. I am new to this forum. Is there a local Toronto group for example, or at least Canadian since this is a local issue? This group seems to be international.

@Heather2226 Apologies for the late reply! The Community center is indeed a global space, but there is a local club in Toronto for hosts who operate there. You can find it on this page - are you able to join it?
