Hello

I am a new airbnb host in orlando Florida and my homeowners insurance carrier does not allow short term renting (citizens).

I am looking into Insuraguest. It is a third party vacation rental insurance coverage.

Does anyone have any experience with Insuraguest?

Is anyone in Florida facing the same glitch with their homeowners insurance not allowing short term renting of their home?

I am renting entire home, not shared (if that matters).

Any insight is greatly appreciated!!

This is an industry wide issue, be assured; so, not a glitch. Homeowners insurance does not cover business use, which this is. Business use of our homes carries special risks which requires different standards and policies. Home sharing and whole house are different, as you stated. Good for you for doing this right!
