Hosting Registration in Los Angeles

What a nightmare !!

Last October I filed for an extension as I was notified that I have reached the 120 day limit, so I filed for the extension. While waiting for the approval I received another notification saying that my registration will expire in the beginning of November. So I went on the City website to renew my registration and I was told that I cannot renew my registration before I cancel the extension I have filed. So I went back and asked for the cancellation of the extension in order to renew my registration. I logged on and renewed my registration however I received an email stating that one of the documents I uploaded  is from 2019 and I need to upload the updated document however when I go to the site to upload the correct info I am being told that my registration has expired and cannot be renewed.

My question is how do I renew the registration and once I renew do I have to file for an extension so I can get short term reservations? or with the new registration I can automatically start hosting short term reservations for November and December.

Please help. With covid closures this is my only income.

Thanks

Who knows its all messed up. The unions won.

Not sure what the unions have to do with it.  The process has been outsourced to a 3rd party company located in San Francisco.

Hi, this is my first year applying for an extended stay in Los Angeles.  I'm at 110 days of stays.  I applied for the extended stay early when I was at 90 stays to get a head start.  I completed steps 1 and 2 in the system.  I was informed to expect a email from the city regarding step 3 and that they would review my application.  So far I have never received a email.  I was denied paying my annual registration.  It stated because I applied for the extended stay I'm unable to register.  Really!? I'm getting worried.  I have future booking on my calendar.  I tried calling but you just get the voice recordings. HELP!

Unfortunately, it is impossible to receive timely or live assistance.  I am a new host waited quite a while for my application to be approved. I eventually found the 3rd party company to which the City outsourced the licensing process. I don't recall the name (you can find it); they're located in San Francisco.

I called the company and followed phone prompts as if I was a B2B customer. I was able to convince someone from Support to help me 🤓.

Hi could you tell me the company if possible
