Hosting as an LLC from private account - not working!
As per the help pages, one can host as an LLC while still being logged in from my regular personal account (https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2231/how-do-i-join-airbnb-as-a-company-or-manage-company-info-on...However, when I create a lsiting I do NOT see the question "Do you host on Airbnb as part of a company?".
Under my account settings there is something called Professional Hosting tools that has a menu item for managing my company. https://www.airbnb.com/account-settings/professional-hosting. However, when I click on it, it simply says I am already using Prod Hosting tools.
A superhost told me that I can add my company details under the payout section. I dont see anything under payout other than ability to specify banking details etc - but hosting as a company is more than just payouts.
I just called customer support and the representative told me that you CANNOT host as a company with a private account and have to create a separate account. This conflicts with what the help pages from AirBnB tell me!
What's the story here?? How can I achieve this?

in Europe a private account can be converted into a business account by adding company details like VAT number and registraion of Chambre de Commerce (it will be verified by Airbnb. I own a business account).
I learned from this community In the US this is not possible and you can only create a business account when the account is initially setup.
BTW
"Professional tools" can be used by anybody, private or business.
