How many weeks of renters can I expect? Any way of knowing?

We are considering buying a house in coastal Delaware.  I have been unsuccessful in obtaining local data on rental statistics (I'm not sure if it exists, really). Does AirBnb make this kind of data available?

Hello @Allison856 ,

First, check similar properties listed near the one you are looking at and compare their pricing and availability. Choose a month in high season and another in low season. You should also be familiar with your competition and what they offer.

Airbnb does not provide this data, but there are a few third-party apps that do. Many have a free plan, which should be enough to start with. You can search for them online.

From what I hear, Coastal Delaware is fantastic especially during summer. You can try airDNA for rental data and also do random checks on airbnb, Vrbo, booking.com etc to see similar properties in places like Rehoboth Beach and Lewes Beach to see how much hosts charge.
