We just started renting our mini cabin. It went very well with our first few guests. however, we just had a very bad experience. These has been damage in our cabin (that we were able to repair) and it was left very dirty.
how do you manage the conversation with the guest. Do you tell them before you get your review? Should we wait for the guest to complete their review first and talk to them about charging extra fees?
@Christine4155 When you are starting out reviews are critical. I would review the guest asap (honestly) and then hope they review you within the 14 day claim period. Then claim from the guest for the damage. I would perhaps not claim for cleaning as this is somewhat subjective and often it doesn't take much (if any) longer to hoover a clean carpet as a dirty one.
