I did not receive the payment

Up to now I have always received the payments for my guest the second day of their stay. But this time as a new SuperHost my guest says she has transferred money for her stay but the money does not arrive from Airbnb on my PayPal account yet.

What could the guest do.

What could I do?

My PayPal account always worked correctly up to this first chellange..

Hi

At the moment the community boards are full of hosts complaining about delayed payouts.

I'ts not you or paypal it's airbnb

I have heard a rumour that some accounts have been  and they are running around chasing their tails trying to sort it out. ( I don't know if it's true , but it sounds feasible)

I do know that contacting CS is not likely to get you anywhere.

They will say they'll send a message to the "accounts team" and no one will ever get back to you.

Apparently a host contacted a guest ( after checkout) and let her know that she - the host - had still not been paid out. She asked the guest to ring airbnb and protest.  This apparently worked. You need the right sort of guest of course.

to be honest I don't think anyone really knows what's going on. From what I understand, you will get paid  - eventually. It might be a very long eventually.    I strongly suspect I might be in the same boat as you, my most recent payout has not hit my account yet, adn normally it would have.

Some other hosts may have some more specific information

HI all,

It is January 21, 2020 and I have not been paid for a stay in December 2019. I have called Airbnb NINE times, spent hours on hold and spent more hours sending messages. I have lost faith in Airbnb because instead of sending hosts--I am a "super host" also--the money we are owed for such past stays, they simply have their CS reps recite scripts about a "bug in our website," and "you will be paid but I can't tell when." Obviously this is a gross breach of the legal and monetary responsibility of Airbnb so I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General in Colorado, will notify the FTC and am sending a demand letter this week. I also asked the involved guest who paid upfront for her stay to call Airbnb but I don't think she did.

I will never be able to trust Airbnb again not because of a computer bug, but because they refuse to pay us via an alternate method since the site is currently defective.
