I want to add a swimming pool with a liner vs gunite. Any horror stories?

I have a large property and want to add a big swimming pool.  After much research, it comes down to a liner pool vs fiberglass.

With a liner pool, I can go as big as I want where I am limited with fiberglass.

I worry that guests will tear the liner and this would create a real headache for me. 

The pool manufacturers tell me its rare and to not worry about it.

Have any hosts had more than one bad experience renting to guests that had pools with a liner?

@Jody7   I have no experience with pools. Hopefully someone who does will chime in.

I do however, have lots of experience with Airbnb guests.  "The pool manufacturers tell me its rare and to not worry about it". I'm guessing the pool manufacturer has never been an Airbnb host. If it can be wrecked, a guest will wreck it.

Ain't that the truth!  I have my full share of horror stories.  I really should just stick with fiberglass.
