In Israel, how does an Airbnb host send a receipt to AirBNB for money received

Hi,

I just opened an Osek Patur (business) in Israel for a new airbnb apartment which we just started renting. Airbnb is depositing money in my account and I MUST issue a receipt. What is the name of the entity? What is their Company numer (chet peh)? What's their email address to send the receipt?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Amitai2 ! Have you had any luck yet finding this info?

On the Airbnb website you should be able to find the company details on the bottom of the website, next to the copyrights.

Have you spoken with an accountant?  My accountant told me that as an Osek Patur I need to write a receipt in the name of the guests, not AirBnB.  It would be for the amount that I receive from AirBnB, but he was very definite that it should be in the name of each guest.  I live in Zichron Yaacov and would be happy to refer you to him if that would help.

First, personally, I'm very disappointed from the Airbnb VAT policy and almost stopped rented with them.

But if you intend to run this business and to "try", you'd open regular Osek Murshe, since foreign tourist pay 0% VAT, since israelis regular. But you, I guess, build your expectations on foreign tourism. And since you don't pay anyway, you can get VAT on any your expenses. So, I issue my receipt on behalf of Airbnb, but the invoice on behalf of the guest.
