Hello everyone. I am sure everyone is soooo excited about tax day tomorrow. I am finishing up my STR returns and the annual profit filing. I am curious, does anyone include the property taxes in the annual profit filing under business deductions? I normally include the other taxes (not fed, state or local).
One thing we are doing is hiring a professional CPA there are just too many things with owning a rental property.
Best of luck,
Maria 🙂
Thanks for sharing this, @Maria24451. How long have you been hosting with Airbnb? Is this the first time you’ve hired a professional CPA?
Could this be a good option for you, @Janine485?

@Maria24451 We have a CPA for our business and personal returns. Business retuens are due 3/15. The Kansas city has owners file returns for STR as well as a profit return which I can handle. They arent difficult and a CPA normally doesn't want to handle small returns that take 15 minutes. They will also charge too much. I actually researched and found my answer yesterday. Thanks.
