KYC Verification Complete — Payouts Frozen for Nearly a Month ($40,000+)

KYC Verification Complete — Payouts Frozen for Nearly a Month ($40,000+)

I've been a host with multiple properties and have not received a payout since February 28th. Airbnb is holding approximately $40,000 of my earned income.

All requested KYC documents — government ID, business information, photographs, everything — were submitted and completed weeks ago. Nothing is outstanding on my end.

Despite that, I have:

• Exchanged roughly 30 messages with Airbnb support staff
• Made multiple phone calls
• Engaged repeatedly through the Airbnb Help portal

No one can tell me why my payouts are still frozen. Worse, the support team is sending contradictory information. On the same day, one Senior Case Manager told me my documents are "being reviewed" and to wait, while another Senior Case Manager messaged me 45 minutes later telling me I need to respond to a March 9th email with additional documents. Both are wrong — everything was already submitted weeks ago.

When I pointed this out, the first case manager confirmed she has no authority over the process, no visibility into what the hold is, and cannot provide a timeline. So after a month and 30+ messages, I've learned that the support team cannot actually help.

I'm posting here because I've seen other hosts in this situation get connected to the Payments Compliance team through community moderators. I would be grateful for any assistance getting my case in front of someone who can actually review it and release my funds.

Thank you.

Update: Shortly after posting this, Airbnb closed my support case entirely. In her final message, the Senior Case Manager confirmed in writing that I have "already submitted everything requested" and that there are "no further actions needed" from my side. She then stated that Airbnb would not be providing any additional support on my case.

So to summarize: Airbnb has confirmed all my documents are in order, confirmed they are still holding approximately $40,000 of my earned income, and then closed the case with no resolution. I now have no open support channel and no way to reach the specialized team through Airbnb's normal process.

Any help from the community moderators in getting this in front of the Payments Compliance team would be greatly appreciated. @Paula  @Bhumika  @Rebecca

Thanks for the tag @Benjamin1831 and I am truly sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the payments. (Apologies for late reply as I was offline for a while)

Have you received any new updates from the Customer Support team or have you reached out to them again since you last posted?
