Why is it so hard for management companies to comply with airbnb accounting settings.... not all properties have the same beneficiaries
Hi @Margaret491,
Could you tell us a little more about your frustrations please? Perhaps other hosts will be able to share some suggestions on how to mitigate them, once we understand better what is happening with the management companies you've worked with. 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

What do you mean by management companies having issues complying with Airbnb accounting settings. @Margaret491
You have 54 listings attached to your profile so it looks as if you are a large scale management company so I am presuming you are talking about your own management company.
As a cohost who manages a small number of properties I have never had any issues with settings. All the listings I manage are set up in the owners name - and they get paid by Airbnb directly.
Unless you have chosen to set up the owners listings under your profile rather than the owners, I am not sure how this issue is occuring?
The listings need to be setup in the owners names as I am not the main beneficiary, however, when there is listing issues or airbnb need to contact the host of the property they contact the listing owner and not the primary owner.... it is too hard to operate as a co host on so many properties
