Hi all- Im setting up an airbnb in NSW and a bit confused by the STRA rules- Ive had a company quote me almost $1000 for new fire alarms and to draw up evacuation plans and the safety sheet/ pack. They told me I have to get a professional to get it done and I cant draw up an evacuation plan myself- is this true?
Ive read though the gov fact sheet and called their number, the person I spoke to was of no help so hoping someone here can help me and clarify- can we put together the emergency info sheet ourselves and can we draw up the evacuation plans ourselves or do we have to pay to get it professionally done?
Any advice really appreciated and if we can do it ourselves if anyone has any examples or templates they would be willing to share id be very grateful
