Hi,
I used to list my space on Airbnb before the Local Law 18 went into effect requiring registrations for short term rental units. I want to start listing again and started to fill out the online application form but some of the questions aren't exactly clear on how I should answer. I own a two family home but we occupy the entire home. But when I click on type of dwelling the only option is "Apartment in Two Family Home". Later in the form there is a box to fill out the unit number with the option of "NA" if there is only one unit in the building. But I am worried that if I first click on "Apartment in Two Family Home" then put in "NA" that the city will flag it as inconsistent. I am also worried if I put "Apt. 2" then later down the line I may get a fine because there isn't actually an Apt. 2.
Does anyone have any experience with this or can anyone point me to a lawyer or someone who specilaizes in Short Term Rental Registrations in NYC?
Thanks,
Damien

Why don't you ask on the New York host group or ask your city council @Damien616
Hi @Damien616 😊,
thank you for letting me know!
Another option would be to connect with hosts from your area through our 👉 Local Host Clubs and ask them your questions directly.
Let me know how it goes!
