New Pricing 2026

New Pricing 2026

Totally ridiculous, it is time to start closing down our accounts with AIRBNB.

Where is our increase of rentals, total rubbish.
I as a host have just made an excercise with the new pricing:

IF I MAINTAIN MY DAILY PRICE THE SAME AS LAST YEAR.
EXAMPLE 15 NIGHTS AT 122.00 PER NIGHT
IN
2025 = GUEST PAID 4146.80€
And host RECEIVED =
3375.67€

Now 2026 at the same price host receives: =
3031.01€

Inflation DECREASE DECREASE  by 344.66€ for 15 days ..  therefore a full month less 689.32€......

This is a rip off on the hosts payout.
We are the ones that have the running costs of the homes  electricity,  water, gas, our services to the guests, cleaning and laundry etc.

TO ENABLE ME TO GET OUT AT LEAST THE SAME AS LAST YEAR I HAVE TO ADD AT LEADT ANOTHER 30.00€ PER NIGHT  AND ONLY THIS WAY CAN I GET WHAT I GOR LAST YEAR.

WHERE IS THE JUSTICE FOR US AS HOSTS. THE DECREASE IN THE HOST PAYOUT OVER A MONTH IS UNACCEPTABLE IT IS A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE.
AND FURTHER MORE THAT IS JUST ON THE BASIS OF A NIGHT FEE OF 122.00

THE LARGER EXCLUSIVE HOMES WHERE THE NIGHT FEE IS HIGHER,  WE HOSTS LOOSE DOUBLE THE PRICE, WHERE THE MONTHLY LOSS DECREASE IS AROUND 1,200.00€ LESS PAYOUT THAN LAST YEAR.
NATURALLY WE THEN HAVE TO INCREASE THE NIGHT RATE TO AT LEAST RECEIVE SAME AS LAST YEAR.

TO INCREASE THE NIGHT RATE IT IS GOING TO LOOK WORSE FOR THE GUEST.

PLEASE AIRBNB YOU MUST REVIEW THIS PRICING, TOTALLY UNFAIR THAT THE HOST NOW HAS TO PAY THE FULL COSTS.

Oh dear - I think you have been moved to simplified pricing so in the example you give the guest will now pay less money. When moving to the host only fee you need to increase the price per night to ensure the guest pays the same amount.

Is everyone been moved to simplified pricing? Can I go back to normal pricing?

@Deolinda11 it depends on anything's like location and wether you are software connected. Go into your account and see what pricing you have and if there is an option to change it. If not adjust your price per night upwards.
