Airbnb app not working on my iPhone6s All my other apps are working perfectly.

unfortunately the Airbnb app requires IOS 16.0 or later, while your iPhone 6s supports up to IOS 15.8.1

You can always use your PC but if you want to use the Airbnb app, alas, I think the only way is to change your phone 😌

It's because it's a very old version of of the iPhone you will need to upgrade if you want to continue to use the app on your phone @Elle17408

Yes that's pretty sad!

Even if you have a perfect working phone, you will be forced to buy a new one just because companies refuse to develop software for those models.

In the 21th century, where there is so much electronic waste and pollution, it's just insane and irresponsible...

I adore Airbnb but this is an autogol.

My iPhone 6S work perfectly with every main app …. not with Airbnb ….. disappointing

You may want to update your phone as after a certain model Apple will not allow one to update to the newer OS and that presents a security risk if you don’t get the security updates. I updated my iPhone 7S almost 2 years ago as it was “vintage” and in being so they stop supporting the OS. Any parts available to fix are on the market but Apple will not make any new parts for vintage phones. I changed my battery and it gave me 1.5 more years of life as it was losing its charge but ultimately updated because of some features I wanted (record screen, better camera, labeling group text threads, etc.) but it was primarily because they no longer supported my OS (security risk) and other apps would not run on the old OS either.

Few workarounds you can try

Update Your iPhone

Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest iOS version supported by your 6s (likely iOS 15.8.2 as of now).

Delete and Reinstall the Airbnb App

• Delete the app.
• Reboot your phone.
• Reinstall from the App Store.
  (Sometimes you’ll be prompted to download an earlier compatible version.)

Use Airbnb in Safari (Web Browser)

• Go to https://www.airbnb.com on Safari.
• Sign in to your account.
• The web interface is very mobile-friendly and you can access almost all features, including managing bookings and messaging guests.

How to Add Airbnb to Your Home Screen (Safari Shortcut)

1. Open Safari on your iPhone.
2. Go to: https://www.airbnb.com
3. Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
   It’s at the bottom of your screen.
4. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
5. You can rename it to something like “Airbnb”, then tap “Add.”

Now you’ll see an Airbnb icon on your home screen.

• Tap it anytime—Safari will open Airbnb in a clean, app-like view.
• You stay signed in as long as you don’t clear cookies or log out.
