Ottawa Permit Refusal

Hello,

I want to ask if anyone has gone through a permit refusal and requested a review for the Airbnb permit in Ottawa. How did the process go? 

They refused my renewal application, saying they don't believe I live there. Now I'm trying to apply for a review, but I wanted to ask if anyone has gone through this process.

Thank you for replying. I offer the entire upstairs as a whole or individual rooms, and I reside in the basement. 

Wouldn't that still be considered my primary residence?
