I have been trying to get payments form December. Airbnb has absolutely no support system.
It says that my payment is on hold because I need to update my account details. If I go to the link they send me, it says successful, but once back at main page it says I need to update my account.
I am at a loss. Does anyone have some info that might help me as AIRBNB have none

When South African hosts don't receive payment, it's often because they did not complete the Reserve Bank mandate through Bidvest. You can take a look at the link and use the e-mail address supplied:

I have contacted Bidvest. They say there is no payments loaded by AIRBNB on the account number
Did you ask Bidvest for the electronic mandate @Engela8 ? Once you complete it. Airbnb should be able to successfully send payments to your bank account for the rest of the calendar year.
In the Airbnb menu you can click Earnings to get an overview of the status of each guest payout.
South African hosts complain here from time to time that they contact Support when they don't receive payouts, and that it's hard for them to solve the issue that way (it sounds like Airbnb's first-line Support agents are often not aware of the additional requirement that applies only to South African hosts, namely that we have to submit the mandate every year).
Usually when hosts ask Bidvest to send them the SARB mandate so they can complete it for the year, the payments do come through. Hope it works for you.
@Engela8 just another question - there seems to be no listing attached to your profile. Are you a co-host, as you don't seem to have a host profile on Airbnb?
