Persistent Unread message iOS app

Persistent Unread message iOS app

The persistent 1 unread message icon appears on my iPhone and iPad Airbnb app. However, there are no unread messages, requests or any other. I’ve reinstalled the app (with reboots), tried the desktop site on my laptop (no unread messages), tried dashboard clicking all X away, tried guest mode,... No success. I’ve had this before, about a year ago, and this had to be solved by tech support and took over a month. Anyone else having this too? Ideas how to fix this other than contacting support?

Ah! the thing is I don't know how to black out confidential information yet - fairy steps for me😉

Haha, no problem! @Joelle43 Are you using an iOS? I found this online : 👉How to blur part of a picture on your iPhone 👈

Else you can always post the image and tag me! I'll blur it for you whenever you need me to 🤗

Hi @Matthias-and-Luc0 @Joelle43 @Guy991 , have you encountered any specific error messages or issues while trying to update the action items in the "notification about updating information by Feb 2025" ?

It would be really great if you could share a video, so that I can share with the team!

Thank you again for your patience while the team is looking into the notification issue.

Hello @Bhumika

Have gone into each bit to check the information several times and it's still showing up in the part Today on my computer too not just the app. No indication that it's been read at all or that any information is incomplete or wrong either.

On the app (iPhone) I have this persistant number 1 showing all the time agains the Airbnb logo.

Other French hosts have talked about this on an Airbnb FB page too so it's not just us three if that helps at all?

Thank you so much for looking into this for us🤗

Hello @Bhumika ,

I think the issue for me is that I don’t have a website yet, so it stayed this way. Surprisingly, when you click ‘Add,’ it says it’s optional. This is my only speculation as to why this window is still always on for me.

I haven’t started any experiences… just double checked but there is nothing there.
