Pet Fee

Hello Everyone. Thanks for all the advice but I’m still unsure on how much to charge for a pet fee. My house is almost 10,000 square feet and have a fenced yard. I have Bernese Mountain Dogs and they’re my Boys. If I take them anywhere I expect to pay a fee but I’m just trying to be fair. Is $150 Fee too much?  I’m okay with pets on furniture or beds or anywhere because they’re family.

@Adam2336 You should estimate the average cost of cleaning after guests with pets.

From my experience, it’s advisable to set the fee slightly higher than the estimated cost to account for any unforeseen cleaning needs or to ensure the next guest has a satisfactory experience.

On one occasion, I offered a guest a refund of the pet cleaning fee if the place was left in a condition that required no extra cleaning, and I followed through on that promis

@Adam2336  What are the daily kennel costs in your location?  How long do your guests stay?  What does your housekeeper charge for extra cleaning time?  Does that extra charge include yard cleanup?  Having answers to these questions may help you determine a fair Pet Fee.
