Pricing ~ what it AirBnb's cut?

HI ~ So I have a bit of an unusual situation. I live on a farm & I have a lovely large ensuite room with a separate entrance. There are also 2 smaller rooms that share their own bathroom which I only airbnb out IF the guests in the large room need them for their family friends etc.

The large room is $100 & the 2 smaller rooms are $50 each.

Someone has just booked the room & wants all 3 rooms but hasn't paid me for 3. The breakdown says she has paid $175 (there is a $25 cleaning fee). I asked the guest politely if she did indeed want the 3 rooms, if so the smaller ones are $50 each. She told me she had paid Airbnb $220.

I called Airbnb because I thought they must have taken a cut (which is fine but I can't see that). I was told that they cannot share how much the guest has paid! I said but this is meant to be a business & I'm trying to make you money ~ I want to know if the guest has paid enough.

I didn't get anymore info ~ so I'm leaving it & feeling frustrated.

Hi @Anne1232  , I cant see how you have set up your costing but it is a little confusing on your dashboard, Although you have explained it very clearly there is no availabiity to book additional rooms just to add additional people  so it could be 2 people per room or just 1 so the charges would be reflecting that . Also you home page shows your 1 large bedroom at $110. per night not $100.

It may be the way you have the costing set in your dashboard.

Hope it works itself out.

@Anne1232  If you search your listing incognito and enter the same amount of days and guests that the guest entered, for dates which your pricing would be the same for, (like not holidays or times you might have a higher or lower nightly fee), as if you were a guest, you should be able to see the pricing, including the Airbnb fees.
