I have listed my condo for just over $5000 a month. Someone just rented, but the total payout was for $342.00 including cleaning fee. I had to cancel the reservation.

 

I have checked & rechecked my listing. How did this happen? I can’t find the error & now I have been penalized by not being able to rent these dates. Can anyone help? This is my first effort at being a host on this site.

It might be a glitch in the system.  The listing nightly rate is $300.  If someone books for one night, that is what they pay.  If someone lists for a month, then it would be $300 X 30 X per cent discount.  If you do not thing the reservation is not correct, contact Air BNB staff to review the situation.
