Problem updating cleaning fee

I and several other hosts in Dallas-Fort Worth area have been having an issue since last 2 months where we cannot update the cleaning fee in our listings. The cleaning fee set up on Airbnb portal is $177 while my cleaning fee is $211. I have tried contacting Airbnb customer service several times in the last 2 months, however, they have not been able to help me out. They either close the ticket without resolving it or say that the IT is working on fixing it. I cannot raise my nightly fee to compensate for the cleaning fee because the reservation rate is already low because of the fear of recession. Airbnb does not refund me for the extra cleaning costs although it is the problem on their end.

Is anybody else facing the same issue? What else can a host do in such a circumstance?

Are you using external management software (channel manage) for the listing ?

No, the listing is free from any other channels. Airbnb has not been able to resolve this issue.

I am having this same issue! I have not been able to update my cleaning fee for 4 weeks. Airbnb keeps closing the ticket and/or saying it has been escalated to engineers. Have you gotten the bug or glitch resolved?

I have a bunch of listings and ONLY 1 had this issue with the cleaning fee not updating. The short term cleaning fee, when activated, did work. After contacting airbn support numerous times and getting a ticket closed out of them mentioning it’s a nine issue, I persisted at least 7 times with new tickets until the last guy got IT to fix it. This was after I proved to them it was indeed an issue with a single screenshot…

Put your regular cleaning fee to $300. Put your short term cleaning fee to $250. Save it. Once you do, you should see your regular fee show as 177 and your short term one as 250. Take a screenshot of this and keep submitting it. Don’t take No for an answer. They can fix it.
