Do I need to be/have an LLC to access professional tools for the purpose of adding taxes to my listings?

No @Amy3639 , you'll be able to access and turn on professional hosting tools in the Menu.
You just can't do it on the app - it's only available in the desktop version.

Thank you for your response, @Shelley159. I am asking because when I go to "Manage" the only window that pops up is a box that says "you're using professional tools" with no other options available.
Thanks for the tag @Shelley159
@Amy3639 - Looks like Airbnb is not currently collecting the Escambia County Tourist Development Tax of 5%. Is that what you are asking about?
Airbnb allows some Hosts to add a custom tax to their listings - but not all listings/jurisdictions are eligible to do that. To find out if you can add a custom tax to your listing(s), you'll need to go to:
Listing Editor
Preferences top Right (gear icon)
Taxes
Add a Custom Tax
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2523
If you don't see the option to add a custom tax, you have to either collect it manually from every guest through the resolution center, or raise your prices to include the 5% tax - that will put you at a disadvantage though if other Hosts aren't doing that. If you are collecting a tax from each guest after booking you'll need to disclose that on the listing and message the guest to advise that the 5% TDT is due to Escambia County.
@Joan2709 That is very helpful regarding the Escambia County tax collection. Thank you!
I have a friend in the area that is a superhost helping with that part.
My issue is more, however, that NO professional tools appear at all for me. Just the box that says your professional tools are turned on. She doesn't have that issue, so it must not be just the Escambia tax thing. Something I am not doing correctly or something specific to my listings.
Once you turn on Professional Tools, the Taxes section in preferences will be available to you...follow the screen shots above.
I think your page looks like this @Amy3639 ?
There's nothing more on that page - here's how to use the tools:
