Promotion Prices

Promotion Prices

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding Airbnb promotions.

For August, my nightly rate is set at €230. However, when I try to create a 20% promotion to qualify for the maximum Airbnb promotional benefits, the platform shows that the discount will be applied to €99 instead of €230.

The €99 is neither my base price nor my high-season price.

Does anyone know why Airbnb is using this amount as the reference price for the promotion? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you for your help!

Hi @Sérgio52

I think the promotion you're using is a Custom Promotion? Here's how it's calculated:

We track all of your prices over a 60-day period to figure out what you typically charge for any given date. When you create a promotion, we calculate your median price for that date over the last 60 days. In other words, we line up all of the prices from lowest to highest, and the price that falls in the middle is your median price.
