@Shara169Appreciate your grind! You are correct it is not a best practice as we hosts are graded on our response times as well as a successful booking after inquiry.
As a former cleaning business owner I will tell you it won't be hard but it might be a little bit more work... Here's some pointers:
If cleaning short term rentals is your sole business model then you should be targeting short term rental owners. If you are trying to mix it in with servicing reg bi-weekly clients it is a recipee for disaster.
There are many Aibrnb for cleaners groups on Facebook. Join those and follow the group
Turno formerly Turnover Airbnb is a platform for cleaners that just specialize in Airbnb cleaning, put yourself on there.
Just like you found the hosts in your area via Airbnb, drill down a little harder and go to your county/ city/town assessors's page and get the owner name and address and send them a letter in the mail offering your services. Direct mail is still very powerful if the message resonates with them. Highlight their fears and offer a solution. If we get a bad grade on cleaning in our Airbnb rentals it's the kiss of death. Let them know how you will prevent that from happening.
Local Neighborhood pages such as Nextdoor and Facebook local pages are a treasure trove. Join them and follow along...most let you advertise your business on certain days of the week
Make a FB page if you don't already have one.
Create a Google My Business page if you don't have one, very powerful especialy when you get reviews.
Best of luck and I am happy to help if you need it. Former ownerof a residential cleaning service for 17 years and hosting for 15 years.
