We have an Airbnb in Cambridge, Ont and Public Health was made aware of us through a bylaw officer from the City.
They’re trying to get an onsite visit to see if we meet all their guidelines but this is our primary residence and from what I can gather, the rules of a business don’t apply to us.
Thank you. I have a well and a pool. They want to test my water and want to inspect my property. They’re trying to suggest that I fall under “primary use of my property” but it’s not. We live here and only rented out 64 days this last year. The city of Cambridge bylaw has also been all over us and are suggesting we are running it as a commercial business which we are not. Just wonderkng
