Hi @Chelsea606
There are many advantages to being a co-host, especially before hosting. In some cities, Airbnb are introducing co-host matching, but not yet in Stockholm, so, if you want to become an Airbnb co-host, the steps are:
Find hosts who need help. Look in the Airbnb Community Centre (here!👋), local Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, and friends.
Politely contact local hosts directly and explain what you can offer (guest messaging, cleaning coordination, check-ins, pricing, etc).
Agree the responsibilities and payment between you.
The host can then add you as a co-host in their Airbnb listing by entering your Airbnb email.
Once you accept, you can start managing the listing.
If you do not yet have experience, staying in Airbnbs is a very good way to learn what great hosting looks like. It helps you understand guest expectations, cleaning standards, communication, and problem-solving, which are exactly the skills a good co-host needs.
Good luck,
Livia
