Hi @Chelsea606

There are many advantages to being a co-host, especially before hosting.  In some cities, Airbnb are introducing co-host matching, but not yet in Stockholm, so, if you want to become an Airbnb co-host, the steps are:

  1. Find hosts who need help. Look in the Airbnb Community Centre (here!👋), local Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, and friends.

  2. Politely contact local hosts directly and explain what you can offer (guest messaging, cleaning coordination, check-ins, pricing, etc).

  3. Agree the responsibilities and payment between you.

  4. The host can then add you as a co-host in their Airbnb listing by entering your Airbnb email.

  5. Once you accept, you can start managing the listing.

If you do not yet have experience, staying in Airbnbs is a very good way to learn what great hosting looks like. It helps you understand guest expectations, cleaning standards, communication, and problem-solving, which are exactly the skills a good co-host needs.

Good luck,

Livia
