Re-Grand Openings for my cabins

Hi everyone!!

We recently purchased 2 cabins that were already Airbnb's. We have made several upgrades and others are still in the works.  We have gotten rave reviews for the things we have already added to the spaces. We have added some of the features on our listings but not all, as they are not completed yet. After everything is done and in place, we are going to get a professional photographer to take new pictures for each listing.

Have any of you ever done a re-grand opening campaign after upgrading?  I would love to do something of the sort and give away a weekend or week stay at one of our cabins, I just don't know how to go about it. Thoughts??

@Mary4521   While you think it may be a good idea to give away a stay in one of your properties in the hopes that it will garner more guests, I think that most experienced hosts will agree that it will only attract bottom feeders and discount seekers who will not treat your "free" property with any respect.

@Lorna170  I was planning on having the current renters post some pictures of their stay using a specific hashtag to enter. That way I can weed out any bad seeds.

@Mary4521,

Since you are already a SuperHost, your new listings will have the benefit of that being a search filter, and potential guests will be able to see your reviews.  If you choose, you can offer the standard new listing discounts that Airbnb recommends.  I believe it's 30% for the first three bookings within a certain period of time.  This will play the listings higher in the search results.  I also don't recommend giving away free nights.

Don't just believe what I say, check the Airbnb Help Center

Yes, I am def using these resources as well.
