Removal of Price Breakdown Feature!
Hi,
Airbnb’s latest update removed the price breakdown feature, so we can no longer see earnings for specific date ranges on the calendar. I relied on this tool to adjust pricing, promotions, and booking rules, and its absence makes managing listings much harder.
After about a month of waiting for support, I learned that the option has been permanently removed, and the suggested workaround—setting the calendar to "request to book"—doesn't make sense since we need earnings visibility before receiving a reservation request. The delay in getting support has only added to my frustration.
What are your thoughts on this? I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you have.
Thank you.

I was told they're working on it @Leila470
It still works when you select one night. It doesn't work when you select multiple nights or a night with a custom promotion.
Hope it's fixed soon.

Hi @Inna31
If you click just one night (choose one without a custom promotion) and then click the price box, you see a screen that has the option at the bottom "Guest price before taxes". Click that for more detail:
We also need this detail when we select multiple nights and we need it for promoted nights (at the moment it just takes you to the promotion).
I hope they're still working on it.

Thank you, but it does not show all the fees, it does not include cleaning fees, taxes, Airbnb fees for guests.

Thank you, but the price for one night doesn't help at all, as it was an important tool for helping hosts.

I don't think so they are going to fix this because they want to control everything they just need to take our listings in their hands.

I agree! I don't understand how hosts are operating without this feature. I need to see earning potential and tax fees!!! I can't set discounts if I don't know what my earning potential would be for stays longer than one night. I'm completely stuck. I've called Airbnb and there response was to call them to help with pricing!?!?!? I I would usually look over my calendar regularly and make quick adjustments here and there to maximize profit. I cannot do this with the update. We have no idea what the guest is paying and how much Airbnb is collecting. The breakdown needs to be clear!

I agree @Elizabeth708
I'm keeping another tab open in guest view and putting the dates in there to see the guest totals. I calculate my earnings using my payout percentage. It's a hassle - used to be very quick.

such a frustrating thing to have to do. And if you are using the app it’s not possible to have them both open at the same time

And just wasting your time. And instead you can't control as before and I can't see how much exactly you are going to make. It is not Host friendly upgrade

@Elizabeth708 I agree 10000% percent. This is a vital hosting tool they have taken away from the platform. I can't understand why they've made this change.
The platform has always been glitchy, but this really binds the hands of hosts in a tremendously significant way. I can't function as a host without transparency in pricing. We can't send special offers either--it no longer auto-populates the price for the entered dates, so we are then guessing what our set rates would be and what a "discount" would look like.
I noticed this weeks ago and came to the community forum today to look for any updates.

Just got off with customer support about this and after spending 10 min talking with tech support they are saying the option is gone and the only way to see it to log out and go in to guest mode and find your listing and pretend like you are booking it for the dates you are curious about!! Absolutely insane this is their suggestion and we all need to be flooding the comment section with requests to bring back this feature for hosts!!!

I have put multiple feedbacks in about this I don’t understand how such an important tool for pricing could be removed - you’d think they have a team of hosts giving feedback and trailing this before releasing- it’s total
