I am a Property Manager (60+ properties) I use Hostaway Software. We list all of our properties on several booking channels. On all booking channels, except for AirBnB, we are able to charge an ITEMIZED fee for a mandatory accidental damage policy ($33 for Safely Insurance). In AirBnB the only way to add in this charge is to call it a "Management Fee" and this simply is added into the nightly rate - less than ideal, or bake it into the Cleaning Fee - also less than ideal. Why can't AirBnB allow us to call this fee what it actually is, itemize it on the booking form, and be transparent with our guests? Any thoughts on how to address this issue would be appreciated.
