Seeking resolution for delayed payment

Seeking resolution for delayed payment

Airbnb has not released funds for a monthly rental that just concluded, which was my first.

I am a new host in an area zoned for monthly rentals, only. I was not verified before accepting the first reservation.

The guest booked for March but had to cancel (with Airbnb’s help) and received a full refund. They then rebooked for slightly different dates.

The earnings dashboard said I would receive payment on March 29. The guest actually checked out on March 31.

My Earnings dashboard shows both reservations, the first cancelled reservation with a negative value and the actual reservation with a positive value.

Both say, “On hold, minimum not met.”

My minimum deposit is set for $2.00.

Different Airbnb support people have given me different answers about the cause of the delayed payment, some said accounting/financial and others technical.

Twice they’ve said it’s been fixed. But as of this morning, they tell me they’re still looking into it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!

If a reservation need to be changed to other dates (shortened, extended or shifted), there is no need to cancel it and rebook again.

The "change" option on a reservation provides this proces.

If the total of both reservations is less then what your payout treshold is set to , then it will say “On hold, minimum not met.”

Your payout treshold is set to $2.00  ?

If it is a technical problem, then you still have to wait for Airbnb support to solve the issue.
