Self assessment and Company

Self assessment and Company

Hi,

I am running my Airbnb under my company, which I pay company tax.

Do I have to carry out a self-assessment again?

Is there an option on Airbnb to make note that it is run under a company that is not personal?

Airbnb is asking me to carry out a self-assessment.

My Airbnb is in the UK, and the company business is registered in the UK.

If you are filing taxes as a company you don't have to file under self assessment too @Toyin12

@Toyin12 what self assessment are you referring to?

Hello,

HMRC self-assessment.

If you are filing taxes as a company you don't have to file under self assessment too @Toyin12

Thank you for your reply @Mike-And-Jane0

Where can I indicate on Airbnb that I run it under my company?

Thanks,

Toyin

In general you can find answers to managing your STR business on Airbnb through their Airbnb Help website. @Toyin12

Here is the information on setting up your listing through a company.

@Helen3 Surely your response only refers to Airbnb income. It could well be that @Toyin12 needs to complete a self assessment for other income and for any income taken personally from the business.

Yes I was answering his question relating to his Airbnb income being generated through a limited company @Mike-And-Jane0
