Good day @Emilie
Thank you for following up. We still don't have resolution, but have received the banking failure message attached. We changed our banking details on Airbnb in November 2024. From Private to a new Business Account. On the first payment failure, early December, Airbnb said to reload the banking details. On 03 January we deleted the banking details and then reloaded the same Business Account. As part of this failure message attached, are our personal banking details, which we have not attached. This means that there has been a failure by Airbnb to update the banking details used by Bidvest and /or AZA Finance. Out of desperation to get our December payments from Airbnb we have loaded a friends banking details who is in Holland. This is not what we want to do but have now been forced to delete our South African information. We've spent so much time and airtime on trying to resolve between our bank Standard Bank, Airbnb, Bidvest and AZA Finance. Also attempting to contact South African Reserve Bank. We still don't have our money for December and all our Airbnb payments will now be going to a friend in Holland which is not good business practise.
This is the payment failure reason
"We process account verification checks, and the account name has to match exactly as per your bank statements. Our system permits minor name corrections such as mistypes or name reordering.
A failure of verification or large name modifications including additions, removals or multiple minor edits will result in the mandate failing to verify and the transaction being cancelled.
Note if the banking information is inaccurate, Airbnb Inc will need to rebook a new transaction using correct name, type and account information.
I understand this information"
