Starting Air BnB in Texas

Hey guys! I am looking to find my first property out of state and am looking in the houston texas area. Is there a license required to Air Bnb in that city or any other regulations I should be cautious of before getting started?

Houston has some time limitations. You can't airbnb more than a certain amount of days I think. If it's full time Airbnb it's considered a hotel etc. 

 

There is also a permit requirement. There is a Houston area Airbnb host group on Facebook. They may help you out.

Ask your city council or do a Google search to see there are any regulations
