I have 3 Airbnb's (X, Y and Z) and 2 Bank Accounts (A and B). Payments for X listing go to Account A, this is correct. Payments for Y and Z listings go to Account B, this is correct. The issue I am having is that Taxes collected for listings Y and Z get paid out to Account A. This is incorrect.
Is there a way to correct this? I am wondering if it is because my default account is Account A so everything just gets automatically sent to that account. But even I were to switch it then taxes from Listing X would be sent to Account B.
Are all three listings under the same profile/account, or do you have separate business acounts for all three listings?
Are you receiving reservation payments in one account and is Airbnb collecting some local taxes and paying them to you as a Host in a separate account and then you are paying the tax authority?
@Tiffany844 This is the way it works if you have more than one listing, with more than one bank account involved.
You have a “primary” account (probably the first account you connected to Airbnb), and all taxes go to that account. I did call CS to ask if this could be changed such that the taxes go to the same bank account as the corresponding payments, but the answer was no, taxes go only to the one “primary” account.
Have you had a chance to check the answers from our experienced hosts? Are all three listings under the same profile/account, or do you have separate business accounts for each listing as Joan mentioned?
